I'm Akshay Patil, a Project Head
With over a decade of exposure to the web and design industry, I have honed the ability to merge creativity with functionality while staying conscious of the possibilities and limitations introduced by evolving technologies. My experience as a Product Designer involved building a digital platform for the banking collection process, where I worked closely with stakeholders to translate traditional methods and industry insights into scalable, user-centric products. Prior to that, I designed POS collaterals for FMCG brands, managing iterative briefs under tight deadlines and optimizing designs for production, durability, and cost-effectiveness—sometimes achieving the same impact at a fraction of the budget.
Beyond corporate projects, I have contributed to impactful freelance work, including the conceptualization of Mumbai's traffic signals (executed in 2020) and designing a cigarette pack dispenser for global airports. These experiences reinforced the importance of design as a business driver, encouraging me to expand into data analysis, market research, and business strategy to approach design challenges holistically.
